PropXO research
Original insight, without synthetic evidence.
PropXO publishes operating frameworks now and empirical benchmarks only when the underlying sample, definitions, rights, and limitations can be shown. A polished chart is not a substitute for a defensible method.
Research sequence
The method starts before the data.
This sequence is the minimum path for future benchmark reports, product research, and operator studies.
- 01
Question
State the operator decision the work is intended to inform.
- 02
Definition
Define every metric, denominator, state, period, and exclusion before analysis.
- 03
Evidence
Identify the source, ownership, collection window, quality checks, and permitted use.
- 04
Analysis
Separate observed results from interpretation and test material edge cases.
- 05
Publication
Show methodology, limitations, dates, aggregation, and correction history with the result.
Current publication
Frameworks are not benchmarks.
The lifecycle maps, decision trees, scenario suites, and checklists in the resource library are first-party operating frameworks.
They are designed to expose dependencies and improve operator decisions. They do not claim to measure the market, predict profitability, or establish a universal best practice.
Every framework should be pressure-tested against the operator's mechanics, contract, data, staffing, and target jurisdictions.
Future publication
Benchmarks require inspectable evidence.
PropXO will not publish a numerical industry benchmark until every requirement below can be met.
- A precise research question and intended operator use.
- A defined sample, collection period, inclusion criteria, and exclusions.
- Stable metric definitions and denominators that another analyst could reproduce.
- Appropriate anonymization and aggregation; no exposure of participant or customer data.
- An explanation of missing data, survivorship, selection, seasonality, and other material bias.
- Results segmented only where the sample supports a defensible comparison.
- A clear distinction between observed result, interpretation, and product recommendation.
- A substantive-review date and a correction process.
Non-negotiables
What the methodology will never permit.
Research cannot create evidence that the underlying records do not support.
No synthetic statistics
Scenario inputs and illustrative interface values are labeled; they are never presented as observed market results.
No self-awarded rankings
Vendor-created scorecards may organize a buyer's review, but they do not prove that PropXO is the best provider.
No silent denominator changes
If a definition changes, the publication explains the break and does not compare incompatible periods as one series.
Corrections
A corrected record is more credible than a silent rewrite.
Material corrections should identify what changed, why it changed, and which conclusions are affected. Publication and review dates change only when the underlying work changes.
Questions about a published framework can be raised through the contact path on the About page. Legal advice and independent product classification remain outside the scope of PropXO editorial research.
