We build prop firms. That's why we started reviewing them.
Most prop firm review sites write about these firms from the outside. We write from the inside — because we build the technology they run on.
Our team works inside prop firms. Publishing under our real names would end that access — and our ability to protect traders. You're reading insider intelligence from people who have nothing to sell but the truth.
Who we are
The team behind PropXO comes from deep inside the prop firm industry. We've spent years building and operating the infrastructure that powers these firms — challenge engines, risk management systems, payout pipelines, trader dashboards, and the compliance frameworks that hold it all together.
We don't publish our real names because we still work in this space. Our access depends on our anonymity. What we do publish is our work — and we stand behind every word of it.
Prometheus
The Source
Named for the titan who stole fire from the gods and gave it to humanity. Years deep in prop firm infrastructure — challenge engines, risk systems, payout pipelines. Built the technology these firms run on. Now uses that knowledge to protect traders instead.
Morpheus
The Signal
Named for the one who unplugs people from the Matrix. Turns insider knowledge into reviews traders can act on. Background in financial journalism and fintech communications. Every rating, every verdict, every scam report goes through his pen.
Cassandra
The Sentinel
Named for the seer who could see danger before it arrived. Traces rebrands, cross-references Trustpilot profiles, digs through company registrations. When a firm changes its name to escape its reviews, she's the one who connects the dots.
Icarus
Field Operative
Named for the one who flew closest to the sun. Active trader across forex, futures, and crypto. Has gone through the challenge grind at 20+ firms firsthand. Tests the rules, the execution, the payouts — and reports what actually happens.
Who this is for
PropXO is for anyone putting money into a prop firm challenge and wondering if they'll actually see a payout.
Traders — forex, futures, crypto — who are tired of prop firm review sites where every firm gets a 5-star rating and a discount code. You want someone to tell you the truth, not sell you a referral link.
Sports bettorsexploring the funded betting model who can't find a single trustworthy resource on which prop firms are legitimate. We cover both trading and sports prop firms — because the scam patterns are the same.
Anyone who got burnedand wants to make sure it doesn't happen to someone else. Our Scam Watch and Report a Scam features exist for you.
Why we built this
We work in prop firm infrastructure. We've seen the dashboards, the challenge logic, the risk parameters, the payout pipelines. We know how these firms actually operate — not from the trader's side, but from the engine room.
And we know what it looks like when a prop firm is built right versus when it's built to extract challenge fees and deny payouts.
We looked at the existing review landscape and saw what you did: affiliate farms disguised as editorial platforms. Sites where every firm gets a glowing review because every listing is paid. Where "trusted" is a badge you buy, not a standard you earn.
So we built something different.
What we see that others don't
When we review a prop firm, we're not just checking their website copy and Trustpilot score. We understand:
- How challenge rules are structured — and which configurations are designed to make passing nearly impossible
- What trade execution and bet grading systems look like when they're fair versus when they're manipulated
- Why prop firms suddenly change their terms — and what financial pressure looks like from the inside
- Which technology stacks are solid versus which are held together with duct tape
- The economics of prop firms — how they actually make money, and when the math stops working
This doesn't make us infallible. It makes us harder to fool.
What we believe
Transparency is non-negotiable
Every rating has a reason. Every methodology is public. Every conflict of interest is disclosed. If we can't explain a score, we don't publish it.
Traders deserve better than affiliate spam
The review space is broken — inflated ratings, undisclosed deals, perfect scores for everyone who pays. We exist because that's unacceptable.
Opinions should be earned, not bought
Our reviews are editorial. We call it as we see it. If a firm is great, we say so. If it's dangerous, we say that too — regardless of who's paying for ads.
Silence protects scammers
Most review sites won't blacklist a firm because it's an affiliate partner. We will. Documenting fraud is more important than any commission.
What we will never do
Our editorial independence statement
PropXO editorial content is produced independently of any commercial relationships. No firm — whether advertiser, partner, or otherwise — has input into our ratings, reviews, or scam alerts.
Revenue disclosure: PropXO may earn revenue through affiliate links, premium listings, and sponsored content. These relationships are always disclosed where they exist. Affiliate links are never placed on review pages. Sponsored content is always labeled.
Rating methodology: All ratings are editorial assessments based on our analysis of a firm's rules, payout track record, technology quality, user feedback, and regulatory standing. The methodology is applied consistently regardless of commercial relationships.
Corrections: If a firm believes our review contains factual errors, they can contact us at editorial@propxo.com. We will review the claim and update our content if warranted. We will never remove negative coverage under pressure.
Blacklisting: Firms are blacklisted based on documented evidence of fraud, payout manipulation, or systemic rule abuse. Blacklist decisions are made by our editorial team and are not reversible through commercial arrangements.
